Training and Professional Development
The University of the Pacific provides a wide range of training and professional development programs for all staff members.
All University employees are eligible to attend any training and professional development program, as appropriate. While there may be fees associated with certain programs, the majority of the programs offered through the University have no fees.
Training provided through Human Resources are:
- New Staff Orientation: All new staff are required to attend new staff orientation. Please see New Staff Orientation for schedule.
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training: University of the Pacific is committed to fostering and maintaining a respectful and positive campus climate and our policies, including those that prohibit sexual and other unlawful harassment and discrimination, reflect our dedication to this commitment. Pacific provides a wide range of no-cost training courses, series and resources to help enhance and develop your skills to be successful. These are offered through the Office of Assessment, Training & Technology from Learning + Development.
