The School of Engineering and Computer Science occupies four main classroom and laboratory buildings in the center of campus. Labs provide students with a hands-on experience to apply their classroom knowledge and an opportunity to apply research and scientific methods. The School's labs are equipped with the up-to-date equipment and technology and are a significant resource for students.

Opened in October 2010, the John T. Chambers Technology Center is the School's newest building. Certified LEED Gold, the 23,500 square foot facility offers an increasingly superior teaching and learning environment and features the following:

The Hyrdaulics Lab supports courses fluid mechanics, water resrouces, and research. It contains a 16 ft. open channel with a recirculating pump system and orifice plate meter for flow rate measure. It also houses equipment to be used for Surveying Lab, Environmental Engineering, Soil Mechanics, and more.
South Campus Labs support manufactoring and contruction needs for all programs and activities, from core mechanical engineering classes to senior research and design projects. It houses the Felix Wallace Structurs Laboratory, Virtual Reality Laboratory, and open computer labs.
