Who is ACSIS?

ACSIS is a network of everyone that has ever graduated from the School of International Studies, Pacific.  By connecting our alumni around the globe whose careers span the government, industry, and not-for-profit sectors, ACSIS can help enrich your life, advance your career, and enhance the reputation of School of International Studies.  ACSIS is a unique benefit of your studies at School of International Studies, and if you are a prospective student, is a promise of the support you can expect exclusively from Pacific.

Mission

ACSIS seeks to increase the value of a School of International Studies education at Pacific in five key ways:

  1. Encourage camaraderie and intellectual discourse among alumni.

  2. Support job placement and career advancement among alumni.

  3. Advance the School of International Studies' mission, vision and strategic plan.

  4. Raise the school's profile and shape its legacy to the benefit of all alumni.

  5. Help all alumni to "Think Globally, Act Locally" among their respective communities.

Origins

The organization was spearheaded by eleven alums, the 2002 OASIS student leader, and School of International Studies' Dean Margee Ensign, on May 18th, 2002 as part of commencement activities.
