Mission of the School of International Studies The mission of the School of International Studies is to prepare our students to become global leaders. We provide our students with a strong intellectual foundation in the social sciences. Building on that foundation, we insure that our students develop the professional skills and international experiences essential for successful personal and professional lives in the 21 century. Vision Statement The School of International Studies will strengthen its pioneering international program of studies. Our learning community will continue to stress small classes and close interaction between the students and our interdisciplinary faculty. We shall increase our emphasis on international and intercultural work experience, mainly through internships which we develop with our network of global contacts. The School of International Studies at Pacific will become internationally known for this uniquely integrated, interdisciplinary program which is centered on the student’s overseas study experience. |
