2008 Etiquette Dinner: Overcoming the Fear Factor
The 2008
Etiquette Dinner: Overcoming the Fear Factor is on Nov 6th from 5:30-8:30 in Grace Covell. This is a FUN event and a great opportunity for students to dine with employers while learning dining etiquette and networking tips. Student tickets are $15 and includes a 5-course meal. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Career Resource Center (1st Floor Hand Hall). Cash, Check, and Credit Cards are accepted.

The Student Virtual Expo began on August 22! You can view and submit your resume for all on-campus federal work study and non-work study positions on Tiger Jobs.

California Internship & Work Experience Association Scholarship Opportunity
The California Internship & Work Experience Association (CIWEA) would like to invite you to apply for the
2009 Bernard L. Hyink Scholarship. A scholarship in the amount of $1500 will be awarded for first place to one student from a 4 year university and one from a 2 year community college in California. For the first time this year, a $750 scholarship will be award for 2nd place in both categories as well. First place recipients will also be hosted for a trip to the Awards Luncheon at the 2009 CIWEA Conference -"Exploring Borders: Through Internships & Work Experience" at the Handlery Hotel in San Diego, CA on April 2, 2009.
